- I-75 Corridor Tours

The Blue Caboose is owned and managed by the Lima-Allen County Convention & Visitors Bureau and staffed by nearly 30 volunteers. These Tourism Specialists give their time, enthusiasm, and knowledge to welcoming visitors to Lima and Allen County by providing local, state, and regional information and printed materials for inquisitive travelers. The Caboose is open seasonally from the end of May to Labor Day.

We are excited to announce that the CVB along with the Lima Area Chamber of Commerce, Allen Economic Development Group, Downtown Lima Inc., Allen Lima Leadership and others have now relocated into our new offices in the Schnorf/Wagner Building in Downtown Lima. Location: Veterans' Memorial Civic & Convention Center.

Free and open to public.

Also at the Expo: Register for the 5-K Run/Walk to be held at 2:00 p.m. Cost: $3.00 pre-registration; $5.00 day of event - donation to charity. No bikes, skateboards, rollerblades. Route: Main Street to Faurot Park/River Walk.

Tri-State Gun Show

April 2 & 3, 2011.
Held the first Saturday and Sunday from January - May and October - December.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Allen County Fairgrounds.

A popular show for collectors. Guns, knives, hunting equipment and associated collectibles.

Admission Fee: Adults - $4.00; Children 14 and under - Free, but must be accompanied by an adult.

Lima Symphony - The Power of Percussion

Percussion soloist Lisa Pegher has been called "The Future of Percussion." This brilliant, polished performer will bring drama, energy and theater to Joseph Schwantner's popular Concerto for Percussion. The Lima Symphony Chorus will also join us with a collection of the most profound and beautiful choral music ever written.

CIAO Pasta Dinner

Location: Veterans' Memorial Civic & Convention Center, Exhibit Hall.

Formerly known as the UNICO Dinner, it is always on Palm Sunday. Carry out or eat in. 
This annual pasta dinner is a Lima tradition. Enjoy great pasta and entertainment at the Civic Center or take some home to enjoy. Either way you help local charities. Don't miss this year's feast!

Advance tickets are available from any CIAO member, Briani's on Elida Road, or at the door.

DePue Brothers Band

The DePue Brothers Band - oldest brother, Wallace; Alex, "The Fiddler:" Jason (Philadelphia Orchestra); and Zach (Time For Three and Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster) - merge brilliant technical prowess with a highly creative joy.
